Thanks for comments on yesterday. Many of you were close. The second photo is actually a very small lemon bud. I thought it looked really interesting.
These are the last two from the back yar. The first one is some tendrills off some kind of wierd plant. The second is is obviously from a rose bush.

OUCH! Just kidding. First one is very cool!
Cool shots! That first one looks like a spring!
these are both a lot of fun. Great macros
Nice shots! the thorns look very cool up close like this
Neat tendril! Such tight coils. Those thorns are really nasty. Great DOF on those.
Yikes thorns! LOL.. Great shots.
Awesome macro shots!
What cool texture on that first one. Wow...from a plant? Great eye to spot that.
Great shots! I love the DOF effect on the thorns.
I love the close up of the spikes! These photos give such close detail that its almost tough to know exactly what they are from. I had no idea that the thorns would look like a different color.
That curly thing is SO COOL! And ouch on the thorns... no matter what I do I always get stuck by them! LOL!
Love the tendril. Reminds me of dd's hair on a humid day.
Those tendrils almost look like metal. I forgot you were Australian. You don't have an accent lol.
these are very cool. love how you make them appear almost abstract.
Oooh, that first one reminds me of an old rusty wire! So neat how it curls, and i like how simple it is in the photo! :) Neat!
Cheers,
jewels
I really like the thorns! Nice simplicity about it; it really makes its point.
Great great macro shots of some unusual things!
